Still Dancing

The Smartculture partner region Siena is one of the Italian candidate cities to become the European Capital of Culture in 2019. During these months some public meetings have been organised to present the ten flagship projects of the city and to increase awareness and participation towards the themes of the bid.
The project Still Dancing, presented in occasion of the last meeting on the 8th of may, shows a deep affinity with the Smartculture context and declines the aspect of public participation to arts and culture through new technologies in a wider sense.

The Ecomuseum of Siena is now online!

The territory of the Smartculture partner region Siena is rich of cultural, archaeological and natural resources, often managed by local museums. In 2003 it was founded a non profit and autonomous agency, the Fondazione Musei Senesi (Foundation of the Museums of Siena) to make the management of the whole heritage of the Sienese area more performing.
