April, 17th 2015 - SmartCulture day for the Wave exhibition

SmartCulture team from Nord Pas de Calais (France) has designed an entire day of activities in the frame of Wave exhibition!


Programme - April, 17th 2015

10am-2pm - 55 children from the urban community of Lille will:

- Visit EuraTechnologies' heart: the former textile factory Le Blan Lafont, and the SmartHome designed by the research center CITC;

- Test the interactive painting "The Kiss" ;

- Visit the Wave exhibition ;

Exhibition WAVE - EuraTechnologies

From the 14th to the 22nd of April 2015, EuraTechnologies (Lille, France) will host the WAVE exhibition, designed and produced by the bank BNP Paribas.

SmartCulture is partner of this entire week of events and will organise on the 17th a day dedicated to local citizens (children, inhabitants from EuraTechnologies closest neighborhoods,...) in order to discuss new ways of changing the world together through codesign workshops, visits and meet-ups.

Activation Workshop at Meccano Lab (Calais, France)

March, 17th 2015

Meet-up of the SmartCulture community of professionnals from the region Nord Pas de Calais, at Meccano Lab in Calais where EuraTechnologies did present the planning of SmartCulture Events 2015 (available soon on this website).

Guests were invited to visit this unique space of experiment opened to citizens of all ages and from all walks of life, through creative/educational/technological workshops.

Staff exchange MMEX, Gemeente Eindhoven and Design Cooperation Brainport

SmartCulture Danish partner MMEX visited Eindhoven to discuss forthcoming project deliveries and to experience some of Eindhovens smart culture. At the time the visit the STRP festival took place. STRP brings together art, technology and experimental pop culture and connects them to wide and interested audiences. With its interactive art, light art, robotics, performances, experimental music and films, lectures and workshops STRP offers a glimpse into the near and sometimes distant future of our technology-driven culture.
